In our previous article, we examined that B2B software aims to communicate between manufacturers, dealers or wholesalers. The subject of this article is B2C software. B2C (Business to Consumer) software is a software model based on commercial transactions between a company that sells products or services and individual customers, who are the final consumer, that is, the end user. The current equivalent of B2C software is e-commerce software and solutions. E-commerce software is the areas where an online catalog reaches the end user through the website (or with a mobile application) and can perform the entire trade process.
What is B2C E-commerce software?
E-commerce is the space where all products and services are displayed, available from online stores (a click away from home), without waiting for the product or service to arrive at the physical store, simplifying the shopping experience for consumers and sellers. While the number of consumers benefiting from this experience has been growing in recent years, the number of e-commerce sites where aesthetics and visuals come to the fore is increasing day by day.
User friendly design
Physical stores are aware of the fact that the store layout, cleaning and availability of the products sold should be easy, and they know how to establish a working principle accordingly. All these factors are valid for e-commerce businesses. The shelves you see in the store and the brightly designed interior design are different in content for e-commerce businesses, but the logic is the same.
Color match; A store with a complex appearance will cause users to leave immediately. Designs should be chosen where the texts are clearly visible and the color scheme reflects the brand.
Strolling; No matter how informative the content or what makes the product appealing, the consumer must find the product. It is essential to simplify categories and lists, along with a simple navigation that guides the consumer in the right direction.
Page layout; It is important that the layout and the page are presented in an attractive way, as is the navigation. It is not desirable to complicate the page with too much information. If necessary, it would be wise to use menus with abundant tabs so that internet browsers do not slow down.
